Identities**

Sexual/Romantic Orientations:

Allosexual: Someone who experiences sexual attraction.

Androsexuality/Androphilia: Sexual attraction to masculinity. 

Aromantic/Nonromantic: Does not experience romantic attraction.

Asexual (Ace)/Nonsexual: Does not experience sexual attraction.

Grey-Asexual (Grey-A): Romantic/Sexual attraction under very specific circumstances.

Biromantic/Bisexual: Romantic/Sexual attraction to two or more genders.

Demiromantic/Demisexual (Demi): Sexual/Romantic attraction directly and only corresponding with a strong emotional connection.

Femmeromantic/Gyneromantic: Romantic attraction to females or femininity.

Gay: Romantic/Sexual attraction between men or people of the same gender.

Gynesexual/Gynecophilia: Sexual attraction to women, more commonly femininity.

Heteroromantic/Heterosexual (Straight): Romantic/Sexual attraction to a person of the "opposite" gender.

Homoromantic/Homosexual: Romantic/Sexual attraction to the same sex or gender. Homosexual as a noun has fallen out of favor within the community.

Lesbian: Romantic/Sexual attraction between women.

Omniromantic: Someone who has an equal romantic attraction to everyone with no gender preference.

Omnisexual: An individual who may have an equal attraction to everyone and/or have no gender preference.

Panromantic/Pansexual: Romantic/Sexual attraction on a personal basis, regardless of gender. 

Polyromantic/Polysexual: Romantic/Sexual attraction to numerous genders.

Pomoromantic/Pomosexual: Romantic/Sexual attraction without a conventional category.

Same Gender Loving: Used by members of the African-American/Black community as an alternative orientation without relying on European terms and symbols.

Skolioromantic/Skoliosexual: Romantic/Sexual to nonbinary genders.

Spectraromantic/Spectrasexual: Romantic/Sexual attraction to a spectrum of genders/sexes.

Queer: Umbrella term for anyone who is not heterosexual, gender-binary and/or heteronormative; doesn’t wish their sexual orientation to be placed into conventional categories. Considered a slur by some.

Gender Identity/Expression and Sex:

Agender: Has no gender.

Androgyny/Androgynous: Ambiguous gender; between “male” and “female”. 

Bigender: Identifies as two genders.

Butch: Masculine gender expression or identity.

CAFAB: "coercively assigned female at birth”; intersex person assigned female at birth without their consent.

CAMAB: “coercively assigned male at birth”; intersex person assigned male at birth without their consent.

Cisgender/Cissexual: Identifies as the gender assigned at birth. 

Demigirl: Feels slight disassociation with"female". 

Demiguy: Feels slight disassociation with "male".

Dyadic: Born with a "standard" reproductive system (not intersex).

Female: Identifies as a woman.

Femme: Feminine gender expression or identity.

FTM/F2M: Female-To-Male (see Transgender)

FTN/F2N: Female-To-Neutrois (see Neutrois)

Genderfluid: Identifies differently in different times/situations.

Genderqueer: Umbrella term for all identities outside the gender binary. 

Gender Variant: Expected characteristics of birth sex not present.

Intergender: Identifies between or as a combination of genders.

Intersex: Born with a "non-standard" reproductive system; preferred term to hermaphrodite (slur).

Male: Identifies as a man. 

MTF/M2F: Male-to-Female (see Transgender)

MTN/M2N: Male-to-Neutrois (see Neutrois)

Neutrois: Identifies outside the gender binary; third gender or agendered.

Pangender: Identifies as many gender identies.

Polygender/Multigender: Identifies as multiple genders.

Trans*: Umbrella term used for all non-binary genders and transgender people; the asterisk includes all gender identities.

Transgender/Transsexual: When Identifies differently from the gender assigned at birth; Transsexual is considered a slur by some.

Trigender: This Identifies either neither male nor female or moves between three genders. 

Third-Gendered: Identifies neither as male nor female but not androgynous; some Intersex, Transgender, and Androgynous people.

Two-Spirited: Used by Native American person/s who embody both masculine and feminine genders; have distinct roles in their tribes. Seen as a separate or third gender.
